Triodos Bank have launched a new account that will allow people to enjoy healthy returns on their savings and support UK charities, from large ones such as Amnesty or Oxfam down to smaller charities such as Global Net.
The Charity Saver gives investors the option of donating a proportion of their interest to a charity of their choice. Triodos will send savers a specially produced Project List with details of every loan that Triodos makes.
This is in response to an NOP opinion poll, which showed that people want to know how their money is used and are concerned that it should be making a positive difference. This is also a great way to support Global Net.
