Children at West Kidlington School in Oxfordshire discussed their values as part of a creative project. “Unity is one big family,” said Charlotte, age six. “Love can shine inside even when it rains,” said Laura, age nine. “Care is a feeling of respect and love all rolled into one,” said Clare, age seven.“If you give peace, the whole universe will be like heaven,” Tim, age ten.
The children then designed a sculpture to represent the way in which these values support the world with the help of sculptress Wendy Marshall. It was cast in bronze and stands at the entrance to the school.
