Three enjoyable and worthwhile new books about money have just been launched which will help everyone who’s working for change in the world to understand the way the money system works and why it needs to be changed.

Monetary Reform ñ Making it Happen by James Robertson takes forward the ideas outlined in his last book, co-authored with Joseph Huber, entitled Creating New Money. This latest book, co-authored with John Bunzl, suggests how, using the innovative methods of the Simultaneous Policy Organisation, governments worldwide could create a larger proportion of money for the public good instead of leaving its creation almost entirely to the private banks.

James Robertson recently received a prestigious award from the Italian Pio Manzu International Research Centre. His gold award was inscribed: To James Robertson, Creator of The Sane Alternative, the title of his early book which inspired many around the world. All James’s books can be ordered through his excellent new website which offers a wealth of knowledge acquired over 30 years working for a saner future. www.jamesrobertson.com

The Little Book of Money, the latest book from David Boyle was launched at St. James’s Piccadilly with Ed Mayo, the new Director of the Consumer Association. Subtitled, A Provocative View of the Way Money Works it is a concise, readable guide and an excellent introduction to all the questions about money we never thought to ask. It tells you where money comes from, what it means, what it is doing to the planet and what we might be able to do about it. The book is published by Alistair Sawday.

30 Lies about Money was launched in Zurich, the adopted home of its author, Peter Koenig, who is interested in the psychology of money and how our approach to it affects all our lives. Subtitled, Liberating Your Life, Liberating Your Money, it is written for lay reader and expert alike and is a fascinating and easy read.
