Two years ago Positive News reported on the rescuing on “Moon Bears”, bears held in cages and farmed for their bile that was used in the production of Chinese medicines. Since the publication of that article the number of bears freed has almost doubled and over forty bear farms have been closed bringing their plans to end the trade by the 2008 Beijing Olympics closer.

Founder of the Animal Asia Foundation Jill Robinson will be touring the U.K raising funds and awareness for the project, telling her story and giving updates on progress and her goal to end bear farming completely.
