magine going on a luxury holiday to the Austrian Alps where you only need one key to guarantee unlimited mobility and the use of over 20 different modes of transport — electric cars, E-scooters, E-fun-riders, bicycles and horse carriages — all of which run on sustainable wind and solar energy.
This is the idea behind Soft Mobility’ tourism in Werfenweng, Austria, a model community for car free tourism since 1997. This is about as much as the annual CO2 output of 72 oil heated single-family homes with approximately 200 occupants.
