The Projector Tank is a not for profit’ and independently powered,community mobile cinema that tours, screening audio visual material onenvironmental, social and political issues.

The rig isvehicle-mounted and consists of a digital projector and mixer, a soundsystem, VHS DVD and laptop sources, a collapsible screen and an allweather’ awning with a full capacity of about 30 people. Solar panelscharge up a battery which can run films for up to eight hours.

Fundedby Cambridge County Council, future projects will include digital filmediting workshops, free editing software distribution, free hard copydistribution and P.A. support for parties.

The Projector Tankare also inviting film submissions. The main genres they are interestedin are educational films and animations aimed for children, or adults,about environmental issues or the conceptions of sustainability.
