The World Wisdom Alliance was launched in Canada this July. It isenvisaged as a mega-network’ of like-minded groups, organisations andindividuals actively engaged in addressing all the challenges andopportunities facing our society.

Nearly 200 people from all over the world attended the launch. TheFounder, David Woolfson, President of the Club of Budapest Canada, hosted the event. He said: ‘I believe the Alliance has the potential ofbringing like-minded people and groups together on a worldwide basis, expanding our existing networks.”

The goal of the Alliance is an evolutionary shift toward values andactions embodied in a new global system that can guarantee humanity’slong-term viability and sustainability. ‘At present, we are clearlyproceeding on the opposite path. Most of the world is truly unaware ofthe current crises in the broadest sense and the great challenges aheadfor all of us.’

Audrey Kitagawa is a member of the World Wisdom Council, which is afounding partner of the new Alliance. She said: ‘Now is the time tocome together, to cooperate and create an alliance that will speak tohaving heard that voice of inspiration and give birth to this newfuture.

That voice of inspiration is the voice of our Spirit. Our spirit isconnected to the eternal wisdom that we, in our own hearts knowinherently, because it is the deepest part of ourselves. When we cometogether to create this new future, we must always remember that thisvoice of in spiration, this creativity and this infinite field ofpossibility, all exists because it comes from a power higher than allof us combined. It is that power which has created everything that isaround us and within us ó and all the moods of excitement, anticipationand hope for the future.

The first major task is to begin the creation of the World WisdomAlliance as an online community. ‘New initiatives and campaigns willautomatically spin out of so many like-minded people coming together. It will have a real impact on our collective future,’ David Woolfsonsays. ‘We’ve only got 5 to 10 years to begin this shift which is thegreatest challenge that humanity has collectively ever faced.

Much work, of course, is to be done but the World Wisdom Alliance gotoff to a great start and it was viewed by everyone as a welcome andimportant initiative for our collective future.
