Awards for Women in Ethical Business

Good Energy has recently won the Women in Ethical Business Awards,organised by Triodos Bank and Eve magazine at a ceremony in London.

Good Energy is the only electricity company to supply each and everycustomer with 100 per cent renewable electricity. It has recently wonthe Women in Ethical Business Awards, organised by Triodos Bank and Evemagazine at a ceremony in London.
Founder and Director of Good Energy, Juliet Davenport, picked up theaward that celebrates the best female run ethical business in the UK.Good Energy had to beat some stiff competition to win: competitorsincluded Safia Minney of People Tree, Jill Barker of Green Baby andLizzie Vann of organic food company, Organix Brands.
“This is a huge honour for me and the Good Energy team,” said Juliet.“I am confident that the award will help to raise awareness about theimportance of renewable energy as part of the solution to climatechange. To choose an ethical approach to business is important for asustainable future.“
Karen Martin from Triodos Bank said: “Good Energy is such a worthywinner. We were delighted with the quality and quantity of applicants,especially in the award’s inaugural year. We were inspired to have somany of the country’s most exciting ethical entrepreneurs together inone room. We’re already looking forward to next year’s competition!”

Good Energy’s prize for winning this award is a business development package of £2,500 from Triodos Bank.
