A new venture from the international development agency, Oxfam, is giving people the chance to download music. It offers music listeners downloads from over 300,000 tracks, with 10p from every pound going directly to Oxfam to help fight against poverty.

Adrian Lovett, Oxfam’s Director of Campaigns and Communications said: ‘Bignoisemusic.com works for everyone with Microsoft Windows. Music lovers can get great tracks and artists can see their music going to help some of the poorest people in the world, through real cash support and by building on the movement to Make Trade Fair.’

With massive support from the music industry, Big Noise Music looks to be a success. While scanning sounds, people can read about the realities of poverty and unjust trade rules, knowing that their money is going to a good cause.

Big Noise Music is embracing the download generation ñ linking up with worldwide issues, where even listening to your favourite artist can help make a positive difference.
