To celebrate International Peace Day, The Yoga Club in Brighton invites you to Peace Now! the biggest event for peace the city has ever seen.

The Yoga Club is a network of yoga teachers, healers, therapists, artists, musicians and DJs working together as a holistic community towards harmony and peace. Their primary mission is to heighten the profile of peace and positive action.

Amanda Evans, narrator, teacher of yoga and freedom dancer is the founder member of The Yoga Club. A British Wheel of Yoga qualified teacher with extensive knowledge and experience of bodywork and a specialist in yoga. Amanda has been making dance, stories and peace for the past 25 years. Her work expands the theatre, film, the global community and the yoga mat.

The Peace Now! day will begin at 1:08pm on the 20th September at the Old Market in Hove. 108 yoga teachers from across the world will come together to perform 108 peace salutations in celebration.

In the evening, everyone is invited to join in the peace festivities. The event focuses on positive peace that starts in the heart of your soul and promises to be a visual and audio delight. From 7pm there will be live performances, guest artists and music from international DJs.
