However, it’s not too late, and solutions do exist.
Power and Place is a conference that will be exploring this, looking at good energy practice in the transition from fossil fuel dependency. Taking place 2 — 4 October 2009 at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales, a great deal of experience will be shared on energy issues, from a range of different regions and on various scales.
The event will explore good practice’ case studies, looking at not just the technologies, but also the human stories, how the projects got off the ground, what the barriers were, how they were overcome, and how people benefited.
