Living Tree Orchid Essences were first created in 1998 at their earlier base in West Sussex. Their home is now on the Isle of Gigha in Scotland, where the bottling and distribution is also carried out. Made with orchids grown in greenhouses, and using a non-cutting method, these essences depart from some aspects of traditional essence making.

A new greenhouse at Achamore Gardens is now home to the orchids. Don Dennis, co-creator of the essences, teaches introductory six-day seminars at Achamore House several times each year, in the autumn, winter and early spring.

A new combination essence, Positive Flow has generated a lot of interest.

Don Dennis says: “In this time of global financial recession, this is an essence which appears to be able to help people snap out of ‘doom and gloom’ and shift into a frame of mind and heart that enables them to initiate a more dynamic and creative flow of one’s energies.”
