Between 24th August and 1st of September, running parallel with the official World Summit on Sustainable Development, over 100 children from across the world, came together in Johannesburg, South Africa, as part of the Children's Earth Summit (CES).

Young delegates at the Earth Summit in Johannesburg were angry with the way in which world leaders were putting economic and political interests before the future of the planet. In their speeches to the world leaders many of them told them just what they think.

Thousands of journalists buzzed around in the media centre at the Johannesburg summit, but one small group stood out. They were young, not yet jaded, and were having a good time.
