Young activists left feeling truly inspired from the World Youth Jam held in India last October. This was an event which brought together 30 young leaders, aged 15-30, from 20 nations, who are all involved with organisations and movements working for social justice, peace, freedom, dignity and environmental sanity.

Something extraordinary is happening. People are uniting, in ever increasing numbers, around a common cause ñ the future of the Planet. The European World Social Forum, in Paris in November, was not widely reported, so we do not see the true extent of events like this reflected in the mainstream media.
